• Cards can be homemade or store bought filled with handmade messages. Please no glitter. Homemade cards should be made from card stock.
  • Check each category for starter sheets on what to write and sayings to avoid.
  • Add your first name and/or state. For your protection, please do not include your personal address or contact information.
  • Add abrightspot.org somewhere on the card.
  • Keep envelopes unsealed. Add one sticker/picture to the front of the envelope and one on the back, leaving room for an address and stamp to be added later.
  • Stamps are a way to keep our costs down, if you include stamps please do not stamp each individual card. We send in bulk or boxes and the stamps have to go on the outside of the box, not on the envelopes.

To create an account:

  • First sign up for a project.
  • A prompt asks if you want to “Save my information for next time.”
  • Click the button.
  • An email is sent to you containing an activation link
  • Thereafter, you can log in and see and modify your card selections.

Current Projects

Listed below are our current projects that need volunteers. Please read the card guidelines above and then pick the project you would like to help us with. We ask our volunteers to create a minimum of ten cards but you can choose to do more. If you are a large group and need a bigger project then listed contact us.
The deadline listed is the date our offices need to receive the cards by so plan accordingly and plan for shipping time. Cards should be shipped to our corporate office at 44573 Yarmouth Dr, Ashburn VA 20147. If you need assistance contact [email protected].
