Ronald McDonald Houses (RMHC) provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare. RMHC and its network of local Chapters provide so much more than shelter for families with children who need to travel for medical care. 

  • Nutritious meal programs fill a gap experienced by many of our House and Family Room guests
  • Education programs offer needed lessons for outpatients and siblings who are missing school
  • Services such as peer support, sibling resources, and activities, enhance each family’s experience at many Houses and Family Rooms
  • Clinical service providers partner to provide medical and dental care in vulnerable communities

The needs of families dealing with a child who is sick go far beyond medical care. By fulfilling those needs, parents are strengthened to care for and support their child’s medical team.

A Bright Spot is proud to support Ronald McDonald Houses and those walk through their doors. If we can bring a moment of joy–a smile on the face–of those who really need the support and the reminder they are loved, then we are exceptionally proud to be able to bring that moment.
